March Madness... not really

Hi all!
Hope you are doing well! Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to lately... formatting got out of hand and I apologize but time is of the essence and I am not reuploading them for formality's sake :)
Here's a hilarious photo of Anne with not one but 2 pacifiers in her mouth... this kid is incredible!
As soon as I mentioned how much hair she had in my last posting, I gave Nathan a buzz and Anne wanted a buzz too. Thankfully I coerced her into just a bob instead. She kept saying, "I not Bob, momma. I not Bob." No matter how many times I explained to her that her name wasn't changing just her hair cut, she vehemently opposed to being "bob."
This past weekend we went to visit Mark's brother Dan and his wife Shannon in Bend. Dan is quite the musician and let the kids "play" the guitar. They strummed while he changed chords.
Annie's turn.(Here's the formatting issue) On the way home the kids wore their "comtrols" in the car (aka headsets for the DVD player)

Then they rode the kodiak bear at the Black Bear Diner where we stopped for lunch.

(formatting issue resolved) Here's Annie with some more food on her face. For some reason no matter how old she gets, we love to photograph her with food on her face.

Nathan is a tidy eater :)
Nathan got an Aquadoodle a while ago and when Mark and I cleaned out our storage we found it again and brought it to the apartment. Nathan is all about this "new" toy and was doodling on it all afternoon...

This one is titled "Bus"

"Purse"
We may have a budding artist on our hands! That's what we've been up to lately. Mark is currently on a trip to a championship meet in Washington State. The kids and I have lots of things to do while he's away though. Dropping things off at the goodwill, checking out plant starts for the community garden, playdates and mommy visits, last but not least figuring out how many grants we'll have to write to pay for mommies School Counseling program at Lewis & Clark!!!
I am due to start classes this Fall to get a Master's Degree in School Counseling at Lewis & Clark University in Portland. It will be a long haul but for once in my life I know I was meant to do this... for those of you who have been on my journey through this career and that, you'll know what a feat this truly is... not school but finding my purpose!!! YAY GOD!
We hope this finds you happy and healthy!
Love,

Posting at long last!

Hi all-
It's been a very long time since I have posted so here are a few photos of what we have been up to recently or since January anyway!
Here's Anne with her aunt Shannon at their house a few weeks ago.
Annie got all dressed up in her princess garb just for fun!
Here's Mark dressed up in his favorite garb, ha!
Anne ready for the pool.
Nathan wearing socks... on his ears, the best place of course.
Annie has a fro after taking out braids... her hair is long enough for braids, can you believe it?!
Here the kids are having a picnic lunch inside in their tent. After some time of inhabitable outdoors, we decided to improvise. ha!

After some serious prompting by my friend Laura, I finally updated the blog. Thanks LP for nudging me to get it done. I promise to be more dilligent from here on out!
Thanks for checking in on us!
Love,
Mark, Joy and the kidletts
