I can't believe it's almost 2010. It's been a great year for us, full of opportunities and things that have made us stronger! The kids and I have finished our first semester of school!!! I have 5 semesters left of graduate school and am slated to graduate Spring 2011... WHEW! Mark's team is doing well, growing in size and ability. He is an amazing coach and I am so proud of what he is able to accomplish in so many young people's lives.
Here are some photos from December of 2009.
Here's Hobie sporting his "Go Big Red" fanfare.
This is completely out of order, but we went to Mt. Hoodoo in Central Oregon with Mark's brother, sister in law and parents. Shannon (sis-n-law) and I decided to careen down the steepest part of the sledding hill... so here we are.
Annie & Shannon... Annie lasted about 10 minutes... it was pretty cold!
Nathan is a true sportsman.... loves the beach, loves the snow.
This is the lovely condo we stayed in at Eagle Crest just outside of Redmond, OR.
Christmas dinner.... yes we are SO gourmet! At least Shannon is :)
Annie & Nathan got NEW BIKES for Christmas!!!!
Nathan loved his helmet so much he wore it a lot... several hours of the day.
Goofing around
Nathan, Annie and their Grandma at the Teddy Bear Adoption Agency. Nathan adopted a big bellied bear and named him CoCo... Annie however adopted a flamingo and named it JoJo...
This is Peacock Lane in Portland on December 20th... so cool!
Before Peacock Lane we went to the Boat Light Parade on the Willamette River water front in Portland. SO COOL!
I just liked this one... we were waiting for the boat parade to begin... Mark took this photo... I love it!
Well this is probably the last post before 2010... thanks for looking in on us!
To all our East Coast peeps... I love you, miss you and wish there were teleports that would allow me to come out for a quick cup of coffee or tea or to give you all hugs!
To our West Coast friends and family... thank you for your prayers, love and support out here.
To those in between... we love you, miss you and think and pray for you often.
To everyone.....You are amazing! We love you so much!
Happy New Year, be safe and bring in the new year well!
Love,
Mark, Joy, Nathan, Annie and Hobie too!
