Pumpkin Hunting & Carving

 It's October and just like many other Americans, we have been hunting and carving to our heart's content!  Here we are at the pumpkin hunting place... riding the caterpillar...

We carved them today... oh boy!

 Not really digging the whole slimy gross guts idea.

After the initial resistance of feeling the slimy insides, they carved a total of 5 pumpkins!  M and I each carved one.  We didn't have enough lights for all the pumpkins so pictures will follow of the finished products.

I'm off to create a photo book of N's many lego creations!!

Fall is coming...

Hi there...

The leaves are starting to turn here but the weather is still up in the 70's.  We are enjoying our last bits of sunshine before the rain begins.

All our schedules are in full swing and we are blessed that there are fewer transitions this year!  With what we know about SPD now, and the trauma of transitions, it's great that they are minimized!  N and A are both doing great in school.  We received an email from A's teacher saying she's doing awesome and flying through the curriculum.  N is mayor of his class this week and will hold his town meeting on Friday.  M gets to go, but I'll be at work.  Thankful for our technology so I can see it later!

We have been busy but we are making time for fun too!
