All the way from California!

We spent an entire week in California visiting our family. We had a great time with mommy's parents A.K.A. Grammie & Grampie, mommy's sister Auntie Amy and her son A.K.A. cousin Brad, Daddy's parents A.K.A. Grandma Sweetie and Papa... here are some of the photos from our visit...
Grandma and Papa took us for a trip to Chuck E. Cheese!

A picture of all the cousins on the last day of the trip... (l to r Brad, Nathan & Anne)

On the beach...

Eating sand...
Grandma & Pa Pa took us to Waller Park where we all fed (& chased) ducks...
and ran to play on the playground!!!
Nathan and Brad playing with their Easter loot...
Hunting Easter Eggs...

Grammie and Anne, what a beautiful bow, ha!
Playing in Grammie's back yard
Great Grandmother came for a visit!
This is a video of the song the kids sang Easter Sunday. Nathan had never heard the song and Brad apparently couldn't stand it, or maybe it was the others singing? Anyway, it was too priceless to pass up posting!

We visited our Great Grandma & Grandpa Bennett and a wonderful trip all the way around. I had a really hard time pearing down the photos this time, we took WAY too many to put them all in the post. Thanks for checking in on us!!!

Silly Stuff...

These are just some funny things & faces the kids did this week...
Anne... up close, and personal... "So what do you want, huh!?" Ha!

Nathan can't tear his eyes away but can't watch (at the same time!)

This wasn't really funny, but I stepped on a toy tractor and fell while carrying Anne we both got a few bruises but she got rugburn on her face. Thankfully we crashed on the carpet & not a harder surface!

Anne climbing... as she usually does, although this day she was also learning the term "cheeky monkey" so it made it even funnier...

Yes, "cheese" is finally mastered!
A bit more natural this time!
Nathan has begun to try to construct his train track on his own! This is his first attempt and contstructing the bridge portion...

That's all for now... we're amid potty training so I'd better whisk my little engineer to the potty before we have a mess to clean up!

Bustling about...

Hi all...
No pics in this post :(. I have been subbing this week and haven't been home to take silly pictures of the kids. That being said, I have the next few days off so we'll see what we get!

The kids are doing great! They really love going to the rec center with Mark for his workouts and their play time and then playing at the pool the days that I have been working. They watch the swimmers do their dryland workout and then I pick them up on my way home.

I am enjoying substituting. Maybe I'll look into full-time after the kids are in school? Mark is really enjoying his new environment and travels this weekend for a big meet!

After next week we'll be away for Spring Break but I promise to post some great pics when we get back!

A day in the life...

Usually mommy takes us for a wagon ride to get the mail! We really love helping out! We also get to carry the groceries with us in the wagon! (Only when she goes by herself)

Getting ready for bed, we love to brush our teeth!!!!

Nathan's first attempt at painting...

He had soOOOO much fun! Here is one of his master pieces...
Nathan having a funny moment with making his sweatpants into shorts while Anne looks on...

You're weird man...Mommy tried to see if she could get Anne's hair in a mini pony, she ended up looking like she is a "Who" from the Dr.Suess books!!!

Nathan trying a new activity, "painting" in flour...

Snack Time!!!
We played outside on our patio with sidewalk chalk. Nathan drew the letter "L" while saying, "L, look it's L!" It was backwards but hey! He did great!
Mommy brought out all the extra pillows in the house and after playing, climbing and crawlin on pillow mountain, she made us our very own chairs! Thanks for looking in on us! We have lots of fun every day! Mommy has been trying to find new and exciting things to try... it is all about the process!
Love,
The Kidletts!
